YouTube Income 2025, YouTube Monetization Rules, YouTube Partner Program update, mass-produced content, repetitious video ban, AI video YouTube

Important update for video creators, strict watch on AI and fake content. Youtube has declared new YouTube Monetization rules will be effective from July 15, 2025.

New YouTube Monetization Rules for Content creators

Currently, a large portion of young people are choosing YouTube as a means of earning and building a career. In addition to entertaining and informing viewers by making videos, it is also possible to earn through the YouTube Partner Program (YPP). However, this time a big policy change is coming for content creators—YouTube’s new monetization policy is coming into effect from July 15, 2025.

Which content will be excluded from earnings?

According to YouTube’s new Rules, videos that are ‘mass-produced’ (created in batches), ‘repetitious’ (repeatedly the same type), and ‘inauthentic’ (inauthentic or essentially fake) will no longer be eligible for advertising earnings.

The main purpose of this great decision is to discourage the creation of fake or low-quality youtube content. This is a big warning for those who are uploading the same videos over and over again by simply modifying AI tools, templates, or other people’s videos.

Original and quality content will be prioritized

In a statement, YouTube said—

“We always want to be a partner of content creators who enrich our community by making creative, original, and quality videos.”

In addition, YouTube said that from July 15, they will use advanced technology to identify these ‘mass-produced’ and ‘repetitious’ videos and exclude them from monetization.

What types of videos will be at risk?

Although YouTube has not yet specifically said which types of video content will be banned, according to experts, the content that may now be at risk of monetization are given below:

  • Automatic videos created with AI
  • Many videos created in the same template or format
  • Repeatedly uploading the same type of video content
  • Copying other channel or people’s videos and publishing them with minor edits
  • Creating videos using bots or scripts without any innovation

What can content creators do?

For those who want to earn from YouTube or want to continue on this platform in the future, the main advice is—

  • Create content with your own ideas and creativity
  • Maintain material quality and focus on diverse content
  • Avoid copying and pasting or re-uploading the same kind of  video repeatedly

Finally, this policy or rules clearly highlights YouTube’s perspective—they now want to maintain the quality of videos in the monetization process more strictly. So, the people who want to earn  regularly from YouTube channels or want to do so in the future, it is time to think about their new content strategy.
