Las Vegas Aces standout Kelsey Plum and NFL tight end Darren Waller have decided to end their marriage after just over a year together, according to records filed in Clark County District Court.

Both Plum and Waller filed a joint petition for a “summary decree of divorce,” indicating mutual agreement on all aspects of their separation.

Plum took to social media to acknowledge the split, expressing her sadness and stating, “I’m devastated. I walked through fire for that man, but now I see it’s time to go.” She did not elaborate on the reasons behind the divorce but hinted at sharing her story in the future.

Their marriage, which began in March of the previous year, did not result in any children, as confirmed by court records.

Waller, known for his tenure with the Las Vegas Raiders and a Pro Bowl selection in 2020, was traded to the New York Giants shortly after their wedding. Despite the move, his philanthropic efforts have continued to benefit the Las Vegas community.

Plum, who was drafted first overall by the San Antonio Stars in 2017 before the team relocated and became the Aces, has been a prominent figure in women’s basketball.
