Samsung’s next Galaxy

Samsung is gearing up for a major summer launch event, with reports that the next Galaxy Unpacked event will be held in Paris on July 10.

Speculations have been circulating for months about Samsung hosting a launch event in July for its upcoming Galaxy devices, but no concrete date has been mentioned until now. According to SamMobile, the date in question is actually July 10.

This date, falling on a Wednesday, aligns well with Samsung’s usual schedule, albeit a few weeks earlier than in previous years. However, the reason for the little progress seems to be the location of the incident.

According to reports, Samsung has chosen Paris, France as the venue for its next Galaxy Unpacked event. The decision is strategic, considering that Paris is also the venue for the 2024 Olympics, which begin on July 26. By ending their event before the Olympic torch is lit, Samsung ensures maximum exposure and relevance during the global spectacle. The move is in line with Samsung’s tradition of creating special-edition devices for the Olympic Games.

Last year, Samsung held its foldable launch event in South Korea.

The July 10 event is expected to see the unveiling of the new foldable device as well as the Galaxy Ring and possibly more offerings such as the Galaxy Watch 7, new tablets and possibly the debut of a Snapdragon-powered laptop from Samsung.

If the July 10 date turns out to be true, we can expect Samsung to make an official announcement by the end of May.
